I thank you for your article.
I often thought that watching some tv was considered time out. This practise will not be vastly modified. I will try your meditation. I walk in the sun with a friend about 3 afternoons a week and love the conversations we have and obtain benefits from the exercise and I have weet-bix or porrige for breakfast and take a multi-vitamine.

It would be good to have an article of how to accomplish quality sleep. I have no problems sleeping and sleep all through the night. however I am often tied during the day especially arround 2 to 3pm. My consentration is also hampered at this time. It would be good to have some feedback. I do read but could spend more time reading instead of watching tv.

HELP - I have been told at work that I am not the same person and am making mistakes. Work is concerned about my health. I have had all the tests including a brain scan and all is normal. I tripple check my work all the time and do not think I can do better. My adult children tell me I often do not listen to the whole story 'attendion span' and miss vital parts of the conversation. How can I improve this as I am not often aware that I do this?

thanks
All the best

I think sleep is an underestimated factor. Today we sleep an hour or so less than our parents did - we are essentially walking around impared.

Hi,

I agree that <a href="http://www.reiki-energy.org.uk/what_is_meditation.html">meditation</a> can help your concentration and attention span. Also practices such as <a href="http://www.reiki-energy.org.uk/what_is_reiki.html">Reiki</a>, a balanced diet and walking can help this also. I think a combination of lots of things the key to a good attention span.

@Tracey
Sleep has been always underestimated as an important aspect of life. With our 'busy' life where we are trying to squeeze as much time as we can to 'get ahead', sleep is the one that we compromise most. Your articles have a lot of good advice and I am sure others would also benefit from them.
